On the Summer Solstice, 21st June 2010, Alex Kent and Claire Kenyon tied the knot at Sedgwick Park in Horsham. Friends of the groom John and Clare Davison kindly invited us to their beautiful country home for what turned out to be the most special, amazing day of our lives so far.
Thanks to all the guests who made the day perfect and we hope that this page jogs some memories! If you have any memories, stories, photos or videos to add here, please do contact us.

My fave memory was the actual ceremony (which is rare for me) - thought it was ace that you stripped out any religious nonsense and made it all about your past and future together. I love stories! It was great to get a shout out too :) The groom getting all choked up was a bonus :P Thought the fact you both directed the proceedings was brave and totally rad.
The setting was beautiful, the company was fabulous, the cake was amazing and plentiful. oh, and the pig was dead tasty! what more can a person ask for?
Hope the honeymoon was as magical as you deserve and hope to see you again very soon.
I thought it was nice to see you to guys so happy and to spend the day with family, and the food was well tasty.
It was funny when the household dog started licking the bowl of fat, that was left underneath the hog, and got out of there once the owner lady started shouting.
I think that was a great wedding butiful dress and butiful house (really massive) I agree with Greg you 2 are perfect for each other! X
First dance... caught on camera... A very "special" moment for you both! (In reference to our “Rome” dancing)
The moment with Al and the knife when he went for the poor "Babe" hog-roast calving
(pls say you didn't really call it "babe" - lol!)
Claire will be back from honeymoon on Monday and I know she will enjoy telling everyone about her wedding and showing you photos.
But as quite a few of you asked me yesterday how it went, I thought I would send an email to say what a wonderful day it was.
As you know, the weather was fabulous and Claire and Alex had a great day. I think the day is best summed up as very relaxed, very special and very Claire and Alex. Claire looked stunning in her blue wedding dress and Alex and Claire had chosen to have the ceremony in a particularly beautiful and romantic spot in the gardens of www.sedgwickpark.co.uk
Their words and sentiments to each other during the ceremony had us all moved to tears. Alex really wore his heart on his sleeve and when he declared his love for Claire it was with such emotion and commitment. I think a lot of us there wanted to marry him ourselves.
We were outside all day and evening in the lovely grounds apart from for the cake cutting and speeches. Claire's friend Ian, who is a very talented tuba player, lead a brass band that was playing most of the day, with a lot of the music being put together specially for the day. Listening to two tuba players jamming together was amazing. When Claire first arrived it was to the brass band playing a tune which was star wars mixed with here comes the bride.
It was a very special day.
I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and are now back in the land of normality rather than the land of make believe.
We just want to say how much we enjoyed being a part of your very special wedding day. All your months of planning and hard work were well rewarded as yours was the best wedding that we have ever been to (excluding our own of course!). It was just perfect and was every girls dream of how her wedding day should be. Well done to the pair of you for making it so very special and romantic and a lovely day to look back on in the years to come not only for you two but for everybody who was there.
You have such a nice bunch of family and friends and we felt at home with all of them. However, I have never seen a group of so many good looking men altogether in one place at the same time! As for Trevor, I think he had a particular fancy for the roasting pig, and on that point I will say no more!
Sandie & Trevor.
Just thought the vows and their location was simply perfect, couldnt of imagined it in a nicer setting
